¡Hola! I’m Mariela, a San Diego–based bilingual singer and songwriter with over 15 years of experience performing, writing, and recording music. Inspired by styles ranging from Mariachi to R&B, I love bringing expressive, heartfelt vocals to every performance.

I’m grateful to share music in settings both intimate and large, from performing with San Diego–based bands like the Sabrosas Latin Orchestra to singing the Mexican and American national anthems for the San Diego Padres and San Diego FC. I’m also a credentialed dual language music teacher who writes original music for children. No matter the setting, I’m thankful for every opportunity to connect through music!
